The stairs, panelling, computer desk, drawers
and disc unit were made by us and the spindles, handrails, base rails, newels and
ball caps supplied from a mass producer of stair parts.
(The orginal staircase came straight out into the room with a single quarter landing at the top,
thereby taking up much more space)
